Northern Highlands Football: Dave Cord hired as new coach
Coach Cord is entering his 12th year of coaching. He began his teaching and coaching career in Kearny as the defensive coordinator from 2011-2014. In 2015 he joined the Ridgewood coaching staff as the defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator. At Ridgewood he went on to win state championships in 2016 and 2018. In 2019 he was named interim head coach and navigated the maroons to both a sectional and state championship. He remained at the helm of Ridgewood for the 2020 season. He is excited to establish roots in his new home at Northern Highlands.
